- Breeden YMCA Tumbling instructor position.
- General Function: The Coach reports directly to the Sports Director, and is responsible for representing the YMCA. Will do his/her best to teach the children on their team how to play the sport in all aspects (i.e. skills, attitudes, character, values, etc.) consistent with YMCA principles and program goals. Will take an active part in promoting the YMCA Sports Philosophy.
- Know How: The Coach should have a working knowledge of gamnastics; must be able to work effectively with other people, especially the children and their families, representatives, etc.
- Principle Activities/Essential Functions:
- Work to achieve program goals.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Communicate with team as needed.
- Teach fundamentals.
- Ensure facility is safe.
- Set up facility
- Effect on End Results: The instructor will serve as the primary contact with the team participants. Such as she/he has the opportunity to have a significant effect on how the participants are being impacted.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are an essential part of our YMCA organization. They multiply our effectiveness in the community and allow more people access to what the YMCA offers. There are so many ways to help and give back to the community. Please contact the YMCA for more information.

- Helping with Special Events *Reading to a child in Child Watch
- Helping with an Aerobics Class *Swim Lesson Assistant
- Mainlings to our Members *Youth Sports Coach
- If you are interested in shaping the lives of the children in our community, contact Tyler Hartman, Sports Director of the Breeden YMCA for more information. We need coaches for various days and times. Pick up a Volunteer application at the front desk.
