  FIT KIDS  

This program is for children 12-15.  During this program your child will hve a YMCA fitness staff member with them 2 times a week for one monoth. The times of these meetings will be discussed between the parents and the fitness staff member assigned to the child.  The YMCA staff member will create a workout plan for the child that includes both strength and cardiovascular training.  This program is a great way to establish healthy habits in your child's life.

Program limit of ten children per month

Cost:  Members $35.00     Non-Members  $49.00

 

Breeden YMCA Walking Club

RACE TO THE POINT
Race begins April 1, 2008

This contest starts you off at the Breeden YMCA and you m ust travel 135 miles to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio.  The participant may only use the TREADMILLS, & ELLIPTICALS.  The participant must show a YMCA staff member their machine displaying the miles they traveled for the day.  The staff member will then record that on the participants log sheet.  The first person to travel 135 miles to Sandusky will receive two tickets to Cedar Point.  Questions contact Tyler Hartman, Sports & Wellness Director at 260-668-3607 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Body Composition Analysis

Body fat percentage refers to the percentage of body fat mass (the weight of the fat) in regards to body weight.  The weight that is not the fat is referred to as fat free body mass.  This information will be helpful to monitor changes in your body composition every few months of your fitness program.  A member of the YMCA staff will perform the body fat analysis and keep a log of it.

B. W. 12 Club

Members who can bench press their own body weight 12 times will have their name displayed on the BW12 Club chart, along with total numbers of reps.  All participants will recieve a T-shirt.     COST:   $6.00
